Meta Description & Keywords

meta html tags description keywords google search
I liked it better when Google would just use exactly what was given inside the meta description. The only time when they do that now is when the same or most of the same content is displayed within the rest of the page.
I have never tried, but if you want to, make a meta description tag with the content that you want google to list for that page. Then inside the body of your page make a html comment and within that comment write the same content you have inside your meta description tag.
I've had the idea that maybe their bot will still think that its being displayed inside the body even though its in a html comment. If you find this to be wrong, or even better, correct, leave me a comment below.
Don't spend too much time on the meta keywords, but you should have the tag in your pages. Google may not use the meta keywords tag, but, many other search engines still do.

FYI, that "hack" does work. Just put whatever you want inside your meta description tag and then inside of your html body create some html comment tags and inside those tags, use the same text as you did inside your meta description. Google should now use whatever you specified within your meta description tag in their search results.
